WNMG08 High Hardness Color Turning Insert

WNMG08 high hardness color turning inserts offer several advantages for steel turning operations:


They feature an 80° triangular shape, available on both sides, providing up to six cutting edges for extended tool 

life and cost efficiency

The inserts have a negative rake angle to enhance chip control and prevent chipping, and are suitable for materials 

such as carbon and alloy steels, stainless steels and high-temperature alloys.

High hardness (91.5~93HRA) and good hot hardness (up to 900~1000°C, maintaining 60HRC) ensure excellent wear 

resistance and the ability to withstand high cutting temperatures.

Due to the material properties of the inserts, higher cutting speeds can be achieved, resulting in increased productivity 

and shorter production cycles.

Wear-resistant coatings such as PVD or CVD are available to further extend tool life and improve performance under 

various machining conditions.
