VNMG carbide inserts are designed for turning operations on stainless steel, offering a 35° rhombic shape with a negative rake angle for high-speed machining. These inserts feature four cutting edges and are secured via a cylindrical fixing hole, suitable for a variety of materials including hardened steel and cast iron. The VNMG inserts are known for their advanced PVD and CVD coatings that extend tool life and provide excellent edge strength for mechanical and thermal shock resistance. They are ideal for finishing and semi-finishing applications, ensuring stable performance across a wide range of workpiece materials
The TG3135 grade is recognized by its black color and a hardness range of K10 to K25. It is a CVD-coated grade that features a medium-thick Al2O3 coating combined with a thick TiCN layer, which is applied to a hard substrate. This results in excellent anti-stripping properties. It is well-suited for medium to high-speed turning operations on cast iron and can handle light intermittent cutting at medium speeds. Additionally, this grade is highly versatile in cast iron milling applications.
The TG3145 grade is marked by its medium yellow hole color and a hardness range of K15 to K35. It features a substrate with high toughness and wear resistance, coated with a medium-thick layer of fibrous crystal TiCN and a medium-thick a-Al2O3 layer. This combination provides excellent anti-stripping performance. The grade offers an efficient balance of wear resistance and toughness, making it suitable for a broad spectrum of cast iron turning applications.
The TG6275 grade is known for its colorful appearance and offers a hardness range of H15 to H30 for hardness and S15 to S30 for shock resistance. It utilizes an AlCrN PVD coating, which is designed to enhance the hardness of steel parts with a hardness of 40-55 HRC. This grade is particularly adept at processing high-hardness quenched steel with a hardness of up to 50 HRC, and its colorful design adds an aesthetic element to the machining process.
