CNMG 432 Turning Inserts For Steel
The CNMG 432 turning inserts offer several advantages for machining steel:
Versatile Geometry: The 80° rhombic shape with four effective cutting edges allows for efficient cutting in various
applications, including roughing and finishing.
Positive Rake Angle: This design reduces cutting forces, leading to smoother machining and improved surface finish.
Chip Control: Equipped with chip breakers on both faces, these inserts enhance chip evacuation, minimizing the
risk of chip jamming during operation.
Durability: Made from high-quality carbide materials, CNMG 432 inserts provide excellent wear resistance and longer
tool life, making them cost-effective for high-volume production.
Wide Application Range: Suitable for a variety of steel types, including low and medium carbon steels, they perform well under different
cutting conditions, ensuring reliable performance
CNMG 432 steel turning inserts are known for their 80° diamond shape and double-sided design, which provides four effective cutting edges for efficient material removal. Suitable for a variety of steel materials, including stainless steel and mild steel, these inserts are ideal for medium to coarse cutting applications. They have a positive rake angle that generates low cutting forces, which helps achieve reliable performance and extend tool life. Both sides of the insert have chipbreakers to improve chip control and chip evacuation, which are critical to maintaining machine efficiency and insert life. In addition, the inserts are typically coated with a tough CVD coating that provides an excellent balance of toughness and wear resistance for a variety of cutting conditions. Insert dimensions, such as an inscribed circle diameter of 12.7 mm (0.5") and a corner radius of 0.8 mm (0.0313"), are designed to optimize cutting performance and durability.
Grade:TG4105 Color:Yellow Hardness:P15-P30 Coating:CVD
Features:It uses a dual-structure alloy substrate with better toughness, coated with medium-thick MT-TiCN and thick a-AI2O3 coating. Recommended for general intermittent cutting of carbon steel and low-alloy steel.
Grade:TG4135 Color:Black Hardness:P15-P30 Coating:CVD
Features:Dual-structure alloy substrate with better toughness, using MT-TiCN and thick a-AI2O3 coating. The coating is treated with stress balance technology, which has outstanding reliability and wear resistance. Recommended for processing in a wide range of steel applications.
Grade:TG4245 Color:Dual color Hardness:P25-P40 Coating:CVD
Features:The strong and tough alloy substrate is coated with MT-TiCN + thick a-AI2O3 coating, which gives it excellent edge strength and resistance to plastic deformation, making it the first choice for processing under unstable working conditions.
