The TG1115 grade insert, featuring a purple color, is designed for a hardness range of P15-P25, M10-M25, and K10-K25, and is enhanced with a PVD coating. This insert is known for its TiAlSiN PVD layer, which gives it a bronze color and is used for processing steel parts. It is particularly effective for working with hard materials, steel, and stainless steel, and is suitable for materials within a hardness range of 28-50 degrees. The TiAlSiN coating offers excellent wear resistance and thermal stability, making it an ideal choice for a variety of machining applications.
The TG1225 grade insert, with its gray color, offers a hardness range from P20 to P35, M20 to M35, and K20 to K35, and is equipped with a PVD coating. This insert is crafted from microcrystalline carbide that has been optimized for enhanced wear resistance and toughness. It features a nanocrystalline TiALSiN coating, which provides a high bonding strength. These combined attributes result in a broad performance spectrum, making it highly suitable for general machining applications on both steel and stainless steel materials.
