It is particularly effective for working with hard materials, steel, and stainless steel, and is suitable for materials within a hardness range of 28-50 degrees. The TG1225 grade insert, with its gray color, offers a hardness range from P20 to P35, M20 to M35, and K20 to K35, and is equipped with a PVD coating. This insert is crafted from microcrystalline carbide that has been optimized for enhanced wear resistance and toughness. It features a nanocrystalline TiALSiN coating, which provides a high bonding strength.
