CNMG Turning Inserts For Cerami
CNMG ceramic turning inserts have the following advantages:
High hardness and wear resistance: Able to withstand temperatures up to 2000℃ without softening
High temperature chemical stability: Ceramic inserts can still maintain chemical stability at high temperatures
Long service life: Ceramic inserts have better wear resistance than carbide inserts
Good cutting performance: Ceramic inserts have low affinity with metals
Environmentally friendly: Silicon (Si), one of the most abundant elements, is more environmentally friendly
Economical: Can reduce production costs
Wide applicability: CNMG ceramic turning inserts are suitable for processing a variety of materials
CNMG ceramic turning inserts are 80° diamond-shaped negative double-sided turning inserts with 4 effective cutting edges. They are clamped via a cylindrical fixing hole and have chip breakers on both sides. CNMG is the most commonly used insert type in general turning. It has a good balance between edge strength, application flexibility and cost per edge and is the first choice in many cases
